In Capverse, "Summoning" is a unique method for the Sumer race to proliferate. By pairing two Sumers, a new life form can be summoned to join their ranks.
Remarkably, the newborn Sumer can inherit excellent attributes and skills from both parent Sumers and may even evolve extraordinary traits, becoming a member of a special race. This adds an endless sense of mystery and allure to the Capverse universe.
In their life journey, every Sumer has the opportunity to participate in three such breeding rituals.
The newly summoned life grows inside a Breeding Capsule, which must be incubated in an Incubator during a period known as the โIncubation Phaseโ, a crucial stage in the growth and transformation of the newborn Sumer. It serves as a testament to the wondrous transformation from latent energy to actual life.
Each Sumer can breed up to 3 times throughout its life.
Level Restriction: Sumers must reach Level 25 before they can breed.
Lineage Restriction: Breeding between Sumers with shared ancestry is prohibited. Offspring must record the IDs of the last two generations (parents and grandparents, a total of 6 IDs). The system checks lineage compatibility during breeding; Sumers with matching lineage IDs cannot breed.
Breeding requires two compatible Sumers (Level โฅ 25, non-shared lineage) and consumes CAP tokens and Life Seeds. The resource cost increases with the breeding count:
Breeding Attempt | $CAP Cost | Life Seeds Required |
---|---|---|
Note: The exact cost depends on in-game data at the time of breeding.
Select two eligible Sumers (Level โฅ 25, non-shared lineage).
Spend the required CAP and Life Seeds to create a Breeding Capsule.
Place the capsule in an Incubator to initiate incubation.
Once the incubation period ends, a new Sumer is born.
The Incubator is an essential tool for incubating Breeding Capsules. Once activated, it can be used permanently. Players can unlock up to 4 Incubators, each requiring the following resources:
1st Incubator: 8,000 LAND Points
2nd Incubator: 180 $CAP
3rd Incubator: 450 $CAP
4th Incubator: 800 $CAP
Note: Actual costs may vary based on in-game data.
After being summoned, the new Sumer must undergo an Incubation Phase before its race and attributes are revealed.
The duration of this phase is influenced by the breeding experience of the parent Sumers. Specifically, the more times Sumer A and Sumer B have bred, the longer the Incubation Phase.
The phase ranges from a minimum of 3 days to a maximum of 11 days. This can be calculated using the formula: (Sumer Aโs breeding count + Sumer Bโs breeding count) ร 2 + 3. Example: If Sumer A and Sumer B are both breeding for the first time, their breeding counts are 0, then the Incubation Phase = (0 + 0) ร 2 + 3 = 3.
There are three special races in the Sumer population, which can only be created through summoning:
Intelligence Sumer: Summoned with a combination of Electricity and Aquarium Sumers, yields a chance of Intelligence Sumer. Use Wisdom Seeds to increase success rates.
HyperSpace Sumer: Summoned with a combination of Wood and Earth Sumers, yields a chance of HyperSpace Sumer. Use Void Seeds to increase success rates.
Mystery Sumer: Summoned with a combination of Dragon and Fire Sumers, yields a chance of Mystery Sumer. Use Mystic Seeds to increase success rates.
Breeding between a special and normal species has a chance to produce the special species, with special Life Seed bonuses applying.
Breeding two special species (either the same or different) significantly increases the chance of producing a special offspring matching one parentโs species, with special Life Seed bonuses still effective.
In the Capverse breeding ceremony, there is a chance that the newborn Sumer will inherit the original attributes and parts of the parent Sumers, including the backpiece of Genesis Sumers.
However, wearable skins, equipment, and other external decorations cannot be passed on to the next generation.
