Team Formation
Capverse employs a turn-based combat system where players must acquire a certain number of Sumers to form a team and engage in battles.
In the current game version, players need three Sumers to form a team.
With the introduction of Sumer summoning and the secondary market, we plan to expand the team size to five Sumers in future updates. This change will enhance strategic depth in team positioning and skill countering, encouraging players to think more critically about their battle strategies. Additionally, it will increase the demand for Sumer NFTs, supporting the game's economic stability.
Pre-Battle Strategy and Auto-Battle
The battle system in Capverse blends pre-battle strategy with automated combat, streamlining gameplay while emphasizing tactical planning.
Pre-Battle Strategy
During the preparation phase, players must carefully plan and assemble their team. They need to consider each Sumer's skills, elemental strengths and weaknesses, and synergy with other team members to build a balanced and powerful lineup.
Players must also analyze their opponents' team composition and adjust their own team and positioning accordingly, ensuring they can leverage their Sumers' strengths effectively.
Auto-Battle
Once the battle begins, Capverse utilizes an auto-battle system, reducing the need for manual control and allowing players to focus on strategy.
Players rely on their pre-set team composition and positioning, with Sumers automatically executing attacks and abilities. This mode enhances gameplay fluidity and allows players to observe and refine their strategies based on battle outcomes.
In Capverse, players aim to continuously improve their main Sumers' combat capabilities and acquire more Sumers through breeding or trading, enriching their strategic options.
Each Sumer has unique skills and attributes, encouraging players to explore, collect rare Sumers, and integrate them into their teams. Additionally, players need to focus on nurturing and evolving their Sumers to enhance their attributes and abilities, ensuring superior performance in battles.
Battle Details
Turn Order: Determined by each Sumer's Speed value. The higher the Speed, the earlier the Sumer attacks.
Round Start: Each round begins with both sides' Sumers casting buff/debuff skills, followed by regular attacks or skill activations based on turn order.
Basic Attacks: Effects vary depending on the Sumer's equipped skills.
Rage Meter: Sumers accumulate rage when attacking or being attacked. Upon filling the rage meter, they will unleash a powerful rage skill in the next turn.
Last Chance: If a Sumer's HP drops to zero, it exits the battle but may trigger a Last Chance state, allowing it to fight for one more round.
Defeat Condition: A team loses if all three Sumers' HP drops to zero, ending the battle.
Battle Duration: Battles can last up to 20 rounds. If no victor emerges by then, the challenger/attacker loses to avoid prolonged stalemates from healing skills.
